Because it's grass-fed, the fat renders cleaner and won't leave a greasy residue. Brown it over medium-high heat, breaking it into your desired size. For burgers, handle the meat minimally — overworking it creates dense patties. Form loosely, make a small indent in the center with your thumb, and cook to 160°F internal temperature. For other applications, cook until no pink remains and the fat has rendered. The flavor is noticeably cleaner and more complex than conventional ground beef.

At 0°F or below, this stays at peak quality for 12–18 months. For best flavor and texture, we recommend cooking within 6 months.
We recommend thawing first for the most even cook. Move it from freezer to fridge 24 hours ahead, or quick-thaw in cold water (in the original packaging) if you're short on time.
