Physical Description:
Approximately 12-14 oz of premium grass-fed ribeye steak, sourced from New Zealand's pristine pastures. This cut is defined by its exceptional marbling — intramuscular fat that renders clean and creates a deeply satisfying, buttery texture. The ribeye is the most flavorful beef cut available, offering bold, complex beef character that speaks to the animal's diet and care.

Cooking:
The ribeye's marbling makes it forgiving and rewarding. Heat your cast iron or grill until it's smoking hot. Pat the steak completely dry, season generously with salt and pepper, and sear 2-3 minutes per side for a perfect medium-rare. The fat will render and create a flavorful crust. Pull the steak at 130-135°F internal temperature. Rest for 5 minutes before cutting — this allows the juices to redistribute throughout the meat, ensuring every bite is succulent and tender. The result is a steak that tastes like grass, time, and craft.

Nutrition Information:
Our 100% grass-fed beef is nutritionally superior to grain-finished alternatives. Grass-fed ribeye is an exceptional source of omega-3 fatty acids, conjugated linoleic acid (CLA), and powerful antioxidants including vitamin E and beta-carotene. These nutrients support cardiovascular health, reduce inflammation, and contribute to overall vitality. The marbling in ribeye also provides easily absorbed iron and B vitamins essential for energy and muscle function. This is beef that nourishes as much as it satisfies.

Farming Practices:
Our New Zealand beef comes from farmers who share Beck & Bulow's uncompromising standards. These cattle spend their entire lives on open pasture, grazing on nutrient-rich grasses and native New Zealand vegetation. No grain finishing. No feedlots. No shortcuts. The animals roam freely, engage in natural behaviors, and thrive in a temperate climate that produces some of the world's cleanest, healthiest beef. This commitment to regenerative grazing practices protects the land while producing beef with exceptional flavor and nutritional density. When you cook this ribeye, you're tasting the result of that integrity.

Questions About This Product

Flash-frozen at peak freshness. Flash-frozen actually beats "fresh" sitting on ice for days in transit — it locks in the texture and flavor at their absolute prime.

At 0°F or below, this stays at peak quality for 12–18 months. For best flavor and texture, we recommend cooking within 6 months.

We recommend thawing first for the most even cook. Move it from freezer to fridge 24 hours ahead, or quick-thaw in cold water (in the original packaging) if you're short on time.

Sourcing, traceability, and process. Our meat comes from regenerative ranches with open pasture— fully traceable from ranch to your door.

Grocery commodity meat is a different animal raised on a different plan, with a different result on your plate.

Open pasture, raised without added hormones or antibiotics, fully traceable from ranch to your door. Wild game is wild-harvested. Seafood is wild-caught from sustainable fisheries.
