Physical Description: Approximately 1 lb whole filet of wild caught sockeye salmon. Sockeye, also called Red Salmon, are highly prized for their rich flavor, deep red-orange color, superb quality and high oil content. Sockeye are several shades darker than other species, both raw and after cooking. Average weight is between 1 and 1.3 lbs. Vacuum sealed and flash frozen to maintain freshness.
